I don't think you can say that beeing able to physically see with the naked eye an asteroid 320m across passing only 18,000 miles from Earth is an ordinary day! At one point it had a 1 in 60 chance of collision....!!

Its where my pay cheque comes from so yes I would miss it very much.
That and I'd miss the steaks and mexican food, but other than that feel free.
