Man this game is so much fun. :D

Nothing like slaying zombies in a stuntman suit with helmet on. Then I discovered the S.W.A.T uniform. :D

Upto level 14 now on case 4.2. They do seem to have made it so easy to rescue survivors now the zombies hardly pay any attention to them when you have got them to join. Makes a change to not have to babysit them all the way back to the safehouse like in DR1.

loving this game but man is it frustrating, not in a bad way but i try and attempt to much and always end up dying when im trying to pass time inbetween missions... im only on 6.30pm on day one but i died about 5 times trying to pass for 4pm till my current progress as i was trying to save multiple groups at once.

so far though great fun and im planning to keep this is my collection once ive completed it as a fifa style game for when im in the mood for killing some zombies.

edit: also online mode is a blast, so far only played a couple of ranked matches but won both of them so im 120k better off in my game which should save the hassle of hunting down the zombrex.

I completed it last night. Good game overall, but I don't see me replaying it and need to trade in for F1 and Fifa.

I got severe performance issues on the final boss, which was my only considerable annoyance. I took the true ending, and 44 survivors, so I think I played quite a lot of the core game.

That said, I'm sure there is huge replayability and the amount of customisations to weapons etc is great. The psychos are actually difficult in areas and the survivors aren't completely useless. I didn't play the first but the time based system works really well, keeping you on your toes and thinking about how to plan your ventures into the mall. It's not too difficult to streamline events either, and building up a massive group of survivors to help deal with the psychos makes things quite immersive.

TIP: Don't go and play DR1 now. If you play like that with the AI for the survivors on DR1 they will get pwned. :D

I actually find most of the psychos on this game (yes I'm not that far in) to be quiet easy at the moment, especially with the combo weapons.

Oh, and now I have opened up the shortcut from one side of the map to the other it should make things a whole lot easier.

The wilting flower challenge in the Venus touch salon. Some girl stuck in a sun bed, get her a drink then she joins you and tells you about the shortcut in brand new u on the second floor straight to the toilets next to the safehouse.

Most frustrating moment of this game... Had 8 survivors and was escorting them back to the safe house, then stumbled upon a psycho and during the fight 2 of them get hurt enough to defect! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

Is there anything in this like the Megaman Blaster from DR1, loved getting that and running round in the full Megaman outfit :p

I have a silly facemask (dust mask) and a stupid hat on. Also some nice tight denim short shorts and a little top that's tied in a knot.

Is there any way to remove the things stuck on my head/face, and/or get back to my original clothes?

I'm only on case 2-something. I went to save my game in a toilets and got killed by some stupid guy who was about to let a zombie loose on some poor girl.

Don't mind about spoilers - but in case that happens again... how do i best kill him, and why didn't I save somewhere more sensible? :(

Boxing Gloves + Knife, does loads of damage. When he jumps at you, just run away, and he'll miss and pause, that's when you hit him

He is tough, got me too and I lost about an hour and a half of gameplay because I didn't save :( FUUUUUUUUUUU

I'm still stuck on the chef, can't kill him. The guy is nails and his health regeneration makes it ridiculous

Use the boxing gloves with the Bowie knife, ripped through him, you just have to know when to run away to avoid his attacks.

I got caught out by that nut job in the toilets as well, gladly I was armed with my trusty shotgun and spiked baseball bat, so I despatched him easily enough. :D

anyone else beaten a zombie to death with a giant ***** yet? lol.

Get yourself a gun and shoot him everytime he runs over to stuff his face.

I agree, the only time I have found shotguns useful is against Psychos, they make some battles that used to be so difficult so easy. Once you've unlocked the shortcut across malls it's worth just popping over and grabbing 2 shotguns from the gun store on the first floor just to keep for the next Psycho.

Goto the toilets in the safehouse and look left as you go in and check out the locker.

Ok so last night I managed to get the hero of fortune city unlocked on my first run whilst doing the case files but one thing that bugs me is that every now and again you'll run into those missing survivors from the scoop you never received! Anyone else having this problem with the scoops not showing up?

Edit: These survivors usually appear with scoops not like the random ones you run into unannounced.

Killed the Chef, Randy and the Clown in one sitting, without saving inbetween  last night

Some seriously scary moments with Randy, especially as the games bugged and his chainsaw goes through the wooden fence bits
