good team outing ideas..

we did a few last year...

gliding
ski/snowboard lesson at Xscape
pottery
Yorkshire 3 peaks

other ideas:
white water rafting
horse riding
clay pigeon shooting

This year we're also looking at possible volunteer activities to help the local community too

lol er well I think they are

prob theater, alton towers, thorpe park
or avenue q

Avenue Q is very good, but, I wouldn't really say that going to the theatre is really a social thing.

Clay pigeon shooting sounds cool, there are places that do like "quad safari" and clay pigeon shooting packages.

Or how about some sort of bushcraft thing? All men want to be like Ray Mears.

One large area of forest or an old factory.
Half as many weapons as there are people.
Turn the lights out or wait until dark.
All those who survive get to keep their jobs! :D

What about looking for a place that does rage Karts or honda pilots?

Just don't go with the in-house Tit if you go clay shooting. I used to do it as a hobby and the amount of times some dosey cow will swing round with a loaded gun to shout "I HIT ONE" is unreal. Grown men running in fear of a woman with a gun

I can't think of anything worse than ruining an otherwise fun activity by going along to do it with people from work, it's bad enough I have to work with a whole bunch of people I have nothing in common with there is no way I'd spend any of my own time with them!!!

Nothing wrong with team-building exercises, as long as the definition of team is "a collection of people who work with each other on a regular basis" and not "a collection of people who happen to work in the same building". :p

We just had an awesome corporate event, indoor dodgeball!

Teams of 5, free bar and a buffet afterwards. Our team went in retro gym style clothing, short shorts, sweatbands and long socks etc.
