2010 Impreza STI - minus pram handle

Subarus have always had silly ammounts of badges and long modle names.

Thing the worst offender is the:

Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C Type RA-R

"Subaru Impreza WRX STI type UK Prodrive" beats it in number of letters. Also takes a while to find on insurer's databases...

As for looks, all Imprezas are ugly: it's part of the point. P1 s are ugly and dated, the WR1 is ugly and a silly colour. The RB320 is ugly, but dark enough that it's hard to tell. The newish hatch is ugly, but the saloon version is worse: all saloons based on hatches look awful and it's no exception.

These have been around for years in the US and Aus/NZ market. No idea why we never got them in the first place given the models sold in droves in Aus and NZ right hand drive anyway!

22b wins imho

Err great, this thread isn't about your father in laws car though so not sure why you are telling us :p

prolly cause people are on about the models and fav ones :)

Dealer near me has a black saloon in stock. I actually think it looks quite smart, although I admit I like the current hatchback which is in the running for my next car. I however wouldn't stretch to the almost £33K asking price for the new one

It'll be interesting to see if we'll get a new WRX saloon. A 265PS one similar to the US version would be good :)

Chatting with my step dad earlier and he was talking about a purple one the local dealer has up for 32 or 33k, said the back looked poop.

It has potential even with that dull back-end, I like the super aggresive arches, just needs a nice spoiler.

Think it'll look better in a decent colour too.

I love it,prefer it to the evo which looks bloated to me. Evo magazine have just given it a great review to! Would really like to have a go in one.
