One of those remaps that claims 50bhp and you get half that?
Iam well aware a turbo is far easier to tune, if i wanted to smoke Focus ST's on a straight for a living id of bought a Skyline R33 GTR and stuck a giant turbo on, or if i wanted to mod my car for more power i wouldn't have bought a DC5.
But what it will beat an ST in is, looks, driving position, steering feel, brakes, handling, gearbox is a bazillion times better, MPG, seats, etc.![]()
yes out VTEC they are so slow they don't move.![]()
Not everyone's, just idiots like yourself who have little or no clue.
If you extend the N/A Vs Turbo argument to supercars it becomes even less rosey.
All the best supercars are N/A, maybe a few exceptions with CCX and GT-R, and F40, lol.
Veyron, Noble, 911 Turbo, Saleen S7?
It's boring compared to what else you can have for the money, and there common as muck.
I have no doubt there quality cars, but they don't appeal to me in the slightest. The only 911 id take is a GT3, and thats after ive driven it a bit, and then id sell it.
So Will Gill there low on torque so what? Do you enjoy the fun of driving, especially quickly? So whats so bad about changing gear and revving a car? A quality manual box is often over-looked, something Honda's tend to have.
Like ive said, turbo cars aren't quick when the turbo isn't spooling up anyways, and theres this little thing called turbo lag, which can be quite shocking on some cars.

And of course Hondas are rare as rocking horse ****.
Have you actually driven any of these cars you are slating?

Veryon? Ugh.
Noble? Yeah ok
911? lol
No.
Where did i say id have a DC5 over a porche? I just wouldn't spend money on one, when theres a lot better stuff out there.
Ok cya Mike.![]()
If i could afford to drop 50k on a car, maybe try import a NSX-R but doubt thats doable for 50k.
TVR Sagaris probably or a Ferrari 355, or a Nissan GTR if i was feeling more sensible, the only turbo i would have.
