Didn't the older hatch which cost less than the Evo X set the same time around the top gear test track ?

Indeed. You don't buy an Impreza for looks (not that this is called Impreza anymore..)

This now having the Spec C suspension setup should make it feel a bit nicer I'd say. Still yet to even be a passenger, let alone drive the latest model, need to sort it out

Lose the badges and colour code the silver bumtache, sorted.

It seems however the track is too short for the body. I think it has a great design but the stance ruins it when the rear wheels are inside the bodywork by an inch or so and makes them look too small. Shame, becasue I don't see too much of the "hot hatch" version of the Impreza and I believe this back to the roots approach has potential to sell better. Is it as good as the already established Evo though?
