Halloween's coming

My first Halloween in Yanksville and the amout of stuff popping up all over the place is amazing, most companys have scarecrow type things relating to their products and lots of homes have decorations too.

If this was tried back in Burnley, the stuff wouldnt last the night with the lack of respect and chavs in Britain.

That one thing I love the yanks for is that they really take to things like this. Even their Christmas is way better and has a much better atmosphere.

Best bit is it's known in SB for being a massive party night where all the college girls get tricked out in minimal outfits, fun times

Tbh i wish stuff was quite as cool as this over here, though nothing is ever really done! Love america for that, a lot of holidays are taken part in to a much higher standard

Halloween is an annoyance for most brits but I can see it being a great time over there.

Yeah they take their Autumn festivals seriously over there. It's a whole big thing and they spend a lot of money / do something special for it.

I don't see the point really, in the US after Christmas and Thanksgiving it's a big holiday/hallmark celebration.

However in my younger years it was nice seeing devil girls in hot pants.

The worst was some chav scally woman knocking on our door a few years ago. Got quite arsey about the fact we didn't have sweets to give to her rotten spawn and rudely asked us to next remember the date and plan ahead! Cheeky ****. Typical on the dole scally woman who's used to taking I suppose...
