£300 To spend

A max of £300 to spend on either a prebuilt desktop or components let me know, what the best bang for buck is. It's for my flatmate, the most demanding game he would play is League of legends.

The old system is a socket 737 amd athlon 3500 I think, so a lot of it is pretty old. The hard drives are all IDE and even older still. But yeah he has a keyboard mouse and monitor. I think as long as there are some basic graphics he should be able to run LOL, as I'm currently running it ok on my system (E6600 and an ati HD 3400). But if any more people have any imput please help.
