What happens is 2 pals of mine (traders) use me for quick cash when they over spend on stock and things go slower than intended. So i get them for what they stand in.

That Mini was 9k.

I got offered a 2005 997 and an ML63 today, which is ironic because my wife was looking for one of those before she got the Cayenne.

Iv only started this since i sort of semi retired, gives me something to do while im at home watching the builders.

Dont know really, it was just hanging on the wall looking at me, then i had the epic battle with the torx, anyway i must admit it has grown on me again :)

Its one of those cars that wants buying and keeping for 5 years. Good spec too.
 
Yeah definitely, if it was a 4 i would half think about it. Will make a nice keeper for somebody at that money.

ps. hurry up with the other thing i'm getting itchy feet :p

111k on a 997, ouch and a tiptronic.
Still it should have had its 4yr major service years ago so you might get lucky. If the tyres and brakes are in good nick you might be alright.

You could also get the warrenty on that as well until it has covered 125,000 Miles.
 
Very nice and very nice again with the Cooper S! Though I'm shocked to see some beat up Civic (I think) parked on your drive!

To get OPC warranty on that would probably cost you 5k in work to be done and the cost of the warranty.

They go over them very strictly 111 point check my arse iv seen them pulling glove boxes out looking for a bulb.
