Chilean rescue mission on BBC news in 6 hours

I'm pretty sure they havn't been in complete darkness, there is vehicles down there which they have been using to move th debri that the driliing has caused.

Also i read that they setup a light area to help the miners keep a day/night pattern.

Nasa scientists have been sorting that out etc etc

It's still true. Artificial light is no substitute for the real thing. Even NASA don't have a portable sun. :)

Put Sky News on now. You won't believe it.

Top left hand corner 'Miners Rescued 0 of 33'.

It's like a video game to them! :)

Yup the score is ready:

Anna Botting's wide mouth always reminds me of wallace and gromit .:D

Btw, rescue now starts at 11pm, and the first to be rescued could surface within the next hour to hour and half apparently.

I remember they said that there was one or two of the miners that were claustrophobic and was going to be given sedatives before going up.

I don't see how they would manage working there at all prior to the collapse
