Hello all ive come looking for some help regarding my RAM i am not very good with computers and i do not know much about them so im hoping you can help me out.

I decided to purchase a new PC and went for the OCUK Ultimate Viper (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-101-OE) with the OcUK Value GeForce GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Everything is perfect untill i hit my RAM ive got 6GB but it seems my computer is only running with 2GB?

The RAM is - RAM: Kingston HyperX 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel

Ill attach pictures to this so you can better see what i am talking about.

First of all i opened CPU-Z to check my ram and sure enough it says 6GB

But when i open windows task manager it says i have 2GB? and my physical memory is normally at 90% while playing WoW

So i decided to check out the System tab in windows and it says i have 6GB but only 2GB usable? my RAM is also the reason for such a low windows score with everything else being 7.5+

I really do not understand most of this and im fairly confused as to whats going on, is my RAM faulty or broken?

Thanks for any help you can give me

What motherboard are you using and what cooler are you using on your CPU?

Often it means you have your CPU cooler to tight.

As this is a OCUK pre built system, the poster might not know what mobo and cooler is in his system.

As you get a 12month Warrenty with OCUK, i would call them, and get them to help you.

- Motherboard: Gigabyte EX58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
- Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B CPU Cooler with 2000RPM Sharkoon Silent Eagle 120mm

Since you have a prebuilt system I really think you should contact the guys here at OCUK service department - it is really up to them to sort for you.

We would gladly help you (this is a very helpful forum) but lets not mess with warranty and such just yet yeah?
