And did the muppet from HCL on behalf of BT trying to sell it to you insist it was a 40 Megabyte per second service despite being told it was not?
 
I'm disappoint. "Up to 40Mb/s"? Fibre optic my ass. 2Mb/s upload for £20 a month? Are they kidding me? I'm getting 15Mb/s from O2 with unlimited usage policy and paying £10 or £7.50 a month atm. BT is a rip-off.
 
was he Scottish? My work has a BT infinity outbound contract. When ever I see BT all going on a break I usually go the opposite direction, they are all Troglodytes on those projects.

think 31st is a big switch on date for ones that have physically already been done.
The estimates are quite conservative by all accounts and you should easily see double the download at least unless you're some distance from your cabinet

No he wasn't.

He did also insist my current ADSL connection was 'only 6 Megabytes a second', (so 48Mb eh?). He meant 6 Megabits. speedtest.org, my ability to download at 2.1Mb/sec from my company's FTP server, and my modem's stats all suggest otherwise, so it sadly looks to me like they are lying to people to get them to move.

I assume they are on commission?
 
They sure are. There on 25p more an hour than me + Bonuses and I play about with Knowledge bases CIM back-end systems and design and maintain 3 websites.

Tis a Joke. But then again according to HR im still an agent, if I complain Im told to like it or lump it. (my own fault for trying to go somewhere in life)

They also get a bonus per sale. We have a few BT outbound projects here. Cant remember exactly what. I will never do it as I hate being pushy and don't want to be back on the phones
 
Rochdale has supposedly been done according to some sources. But others state Dec 31 2010

So I headed to Samknows and it says the exchange is enabled, yet BT don't offer it here yet :confused:
