Hey

I need to change my chair its got really uncomfortable but I dont know where to look, i'd rather go have a look than order online but all I can think of Staples and the last time I bought a chair from there it fell apart

Can anyone recomend a specific chair and link to it or anywhere that sells them that I wouldnt have assumed do so?

I'm looking for the larger size chair in black leather, the size thats bigger than the typical office chair, I game a lot so it has to be comfortable and height adjustable

What ever you do DONT be persuaded into getting a Markus chair from IKEA.

They are terrible (even though most on here seem to rate them highly)

Agreed with the above Markus sucks.

Go to a few places and test out as many chairs as you can.
 
I got one from staples. It hasn't fallen apart yet and I've had it for a year and a half now. Cost around £180 but I cant remember the name of it now, I know it says office in 3 minutes on the box.

It has memory foam padding and looks very cool too, I like it so much i recently got my brother one for his birthday present.

I got my desk from there, but the choice of chair looks equally impressive. They were the cheapesat I could find when I used them, but that was a few years ago now.

Edit - The prices don't include vat (17.5%) or delivery (10%)
 
I got a half price chair in staples a month or so ago, awesome, really well padded and really good quality soft leather all over. Was from £200 to £100.
Could well be same as above, the chairs are sorta pre built, so you fold the back into position and it clicks.
Got leather padded arms as well = awesome.
 
Ok thanks, stuff it i'll just go Staples again, I admit it was a bottom of the range leather chair last time and i'm looking to spend more this time round so hopefully i'll get better quality, I cant order chairs off the internet thinking about it i'd really need to see it first

Avoid anything with the word "Executive" in the title, they are terrible for computer use and within 18 months they will have worn down and you'll have to buy another. This goes for most leather chairs really, they weren't designed for operators.

I have the Cream version and sit in it pretty much all the time I'm at home. I game a lot and I'm used to it now, it was a bit odd coming from no arms pretty much all my life to having arms but you get used to it and its actually better for it.

I'm still very glad I got mine for £75 as the Cream one has since gone back to the same price as the black one :eek:

My bed, curtains, blinds and carpet are all cream I would have snapped it up for £75 but all my PC gear is black so not sure, plus i'd sit in it a lot and cream gets dirty

It does look comfy though, I wish you never said you got it for £75! ha

Whats this one Markus one then, anyone got any proper pics to share please?
 
Yeah sorry I kind of meant at peoples desks. It looks like it has a hard back and kind of thin which might be a good thing for room, I think the best thing to do is get myself to Ikea and have a proper look
