Off out in London, not a clue what to wear !

Evening lads and ladies,

I am off to see a friend at the end of this month and he is treating me to a night out in London town. To be honest, it is going to be a completely different experience compared to any place I have been and I need some help on what to wear.

I have heard certain clubs don't allow certain footwares etc.

Help a fellow forum member out and give me some idea !

is it really that hard not wear trainers? Just put shoes on and be done with it

i have NEVER been out in trainers and would never dream of doing it,

Shoes/shirt, be wary that some of the bigger clubs won't let groups of just guys in so if you're having a sausage fest try and befriend a girl in the queue to go in with.

PVC is what i usually wear, but i would also recommend silver nipple rings, gold looks a little trashy.

Arabic look + Rucksack, big padded Vest will get you plenty of attention in London I'd imagine.

Unless you are going to a strip club, don't worry about wearing trainers. As long as they, and you, are cool, you can get in anywhere.

net vest and a pair of jogging bottoms, stained with curry and beer if possible. Some nice shoes out of a local dumpster should work well. try chatting up the doorman if he gets narky.

Where are you going? Clubs in the West End probably won't allow you in wearing trainers. Clubs like Fabric don't care what you wear and neither do the clubs north/east of the City. As long as you don't look scruffy, it usually isn't a problem.

Black shoes, smart jeans (a very few places are picky about jeans) and a nice shirt - this offsets the jeans usually and gets you in most places.

Looking like cold weather coming tho so a smart jumper wouldn't go amiss.

I would say about 1 in 3 places I've been to on nights out in London are picky about footwear.

Yeah, you're going to need to wear shoes and a shirt then. And put up with a load of tourists / idiots.
