Porsche 911: All the same, crap to drive, just crap!

It's not about bhp, it's about the drivers ability behind the wheel, the road, and the conditions, etc

Never said stuff it, you just pluck **** from thin air round here don't you.

Whahahahahaha

Now the car debate has been kicked into the box of bow locks where it belongs, now we move to the "well if you had Senna in the Evo and Douglas Bader in the Porsche....I'm just sayin" form of debate.

I sense you go off magazines often, it's all you got I'm guessing...

So hang on, there correct when you want them to be, but now there talking ********.

If you can't understand driving a 911 down a pretty hairy b-road, and a seriously easily 4WD rally car, then your a ****ing tard.

I give up, i want my 2 hours of life back.

I had a 22B and a GT3, your point?

You introduce tangents when it suits you Smokey.

Let's nail it down - give us a car and road situation where the 400bhp evo/scoob keeps up with a turbo s and we'll establish whether we're talking cross purposes or not.

Well this whole thread is bogus then, as what do mags know, you need to do it yourself to have an opinion on anything.

it might of been in the 2009 car of the year, im not sure where don't care anymore, point is lost.

We've been here before, but AGAIN you know that.

Your ball is over there, I'm guessing you want to take it home?

When did the magazine, EVO, say a 400hp evo would beat a 911 Turbo then?

Funny that i have the exact magazine in question above my PC desk.

Evo 131 - How Fast

They Tested the Turbo Technics Evo IX - rated at 500bhp.

0-60 ? 3.8 seconds
0-100 ? 9.0 seconds dead

Chris Harris Tested the Turbo S

0-60 ? timed at 2.9 seconds
0-100 not given, but Purely Porsche clocked it at 6.6

Even with 500bhp, the Evo doesnt even get a look in.

If you don't understand my point, then i don't give a crap, it's a simple concept.

I first said most drivers on most b-roads against a supercar. Mainly for the fact most people would feel a lot more comfortable pushing the 4WD rally car, than the supercar.

There isn't an exact situation or you tube i can rumage up, if your that stupid, then ive no chance.

It's quite easy to pick apart every detail, when it's 40 against 1.

Yeah because thats exactly what were on about here, 0-60 times.

HEY MATE A VILLAGE CALLED, SAID THERE MISSING AN IDIOT.

It's 40 against 1 for a reason that is down simply to the shee ite you have posted.

I actually agree with the point you are trying to make about ease of exploiting a 4wd car, my RS4 is quicker cross country than my GT3 because my GT3 was a bitch on the road, the new one isn't. BUT to imply that a 400bhp Evo/Scooby would kill a Turbo 997 is to show that 1) you know sod all about the ability of the Pork and 2) you read silly soundbites from the likes of Top Gear and Evo and seem unable to distinguish them from the facts.

Iv had a few now, so suitably fortified, whats happened here now, iv lost the plot a bit.

Well if you want to talk Track Times.

Said 500bhp Evo IX clocked Bedford Aero Drome's West Circuit at 1 minute 24.8.

Turbo S clocked it at 1 minute 23.4 - so nearly 1.5 seconds quicker, despite the Evo having 500bhp...
