the EK block you have linked to is not the same as the one that has been previously suggested.
As for the ufo, if you purchased the Extended U2-UFO CYO you will be able to put 120.4 rads in the side of the case.
If you purchase the standard ufo, then you will only be able to fir 120.3 rads.
Sorry, I do understand the difference between the blocks, I just linked the wrong one by accident
As for the case, the Extended U2-UFO CYO is very expensive! Though I suppose the space for 4 rads is quite handy!
I suppose the horizontal MB tray isn't necessary, but I think I might get it, just for the crack!
For the options on the Extended U2-UFO CYO, I've chosen the following:
- Additional Options:
- Acrylic Color: Smoked Grey
- Back Panel Fan Spacing: 25mm
- Back Panel Type: Standard
- Finish: Black Wrinkle
- Front Panel Fan Spacing: 25mm
- Front Panel Type: Standard
- Horizontal MB brace: Yes
- Motherboard Tray: mATX/ATX
- Side 1: Acrylic Panels
- Side 2: Acrylic Panels
- Side 3: Triple Quad
Anything that needs chaning there? I think the Smoked Grey Panels would look nice (as far as I can tell,
they actually look like tinted black, and don't actually look grey?

)
The Yate Loon fans that ocuk stock are 25mm, and the Phoyba G-14's (which look nice!) are 25mm too, so
I'm assuming that the Front and Back Fan Spacing should both be 25mm.
Does the Back Panel Type need to be anything except standard? I guess having the Duality Back Panel Type
means that if I wanted to later, the Extended U2-UFO CYO could fit in 2 rigs as well, or is it for some other
purpose? What about the Front Panel Type too, does the standard for this case mean that it has 6x 120mm
fan holes, and 6x 5.25" bays?
Or would I need to have the "Duality" Front Panel Type for that?
'Tis all very confusing! I'm pretty sure I want the Front Panel Type that has 6x 120mm fan holes anyway
The WC looks pretty solid, apart from OCUK not having the Black Ice SR-1 480's in stock. I can get the
EK-CoolStream RAD XT (480) for around £75, is it worth buying?
All-in-all, if I were to buy the case with the options listed above, plus the following; the total would come to around £725.
- Cable braiding
- Heatshrinks
- Hoseclips
- 2M of Primochill Pro LRT red tubing (2 should be plenty just for CPU, I think?)
- EK CoolStream Rad XT (480)
- EK-Supreme HF - Acetal + Nickel Block
- 6x Phoyba Nano-G 14 Silent Waterproof 1000rpm fans (4 for rad, 2 as case fans?)
- EK-PSC Fitting 10mm - G1/4 Nickel (x8, I think that's all I need as far as fittings go? please correct me!)
- Black Lund Pom Res
- 4x Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm Fans for one side of the rad
*Edit*: That's my list of all components I can think of, please remind me of anything I might have missed out!
My max budget is £800 tbh. Are there any particular Hoseclips I should buy?
