Best supermarket pizza is the Chicago Town Takeaway ones.

Cook them correctly and dont overburn and they are really nice.

I used to work at Asda behind the Deli, making the create your own pizzas. Some of the older colleagues disapproved that I put more topping onto the pizzas than everyone else. My excuse was ...'Well I make the pizzas how I would buy them!' My pizzas used to sell pretty quickly Once I made a 14" pizza that weighed just over a kilogram. Took it to a party, everyone could only handle one slice!

The reference amounts are unbelievable skimpy, I don't think anyone followed the guidelines.

They're actually still some of my favourite Pizzas, I'd rather have a 14" create your own than a takeaway, the bases are much crispier.
I used to make myself a 14" deep-pan before leaving work, It was big enough that when I got home I could cut it in half and cook the rest later. Only cost me £2.70 after employee discount too, making them cheaper than buying frozen (for equivalent surface area)

Peppers, Red Onions, Ham and Pinapple was my combo of choice.

To be honest, and I don't care what the rest of you elitest folk say, I quite like Aldi's Stonebaked Cheese & Tomato pizza's, they're only 99p each, and with a little homemade toppings, are very tasty.

Everyone has a different palette though..

Get the one of the large tesco value cheese and tomato pizza's, then add a bit of extra grated cheese and your own toppings.

The Tesco Finest ones are nice (I imagine Sainsbury's Taste The Difference are equally as good).

I prefer fresh pizzas, I detest deep pan frozen ones. In fact most frozen pizzas are poor tbh!

Tried one the other day, think it was £4. Got the ham, mushroom and something else flavour.


And it was amazing...for a home cooked pizza. Easily the best ive had so far. Destroys asda ones.

Go try one, the price makes it worthwhile.

Chicago Town Stuffed Crust or a Asda Create your own. They are awesome upto 6 toppings on the base of your choice. Mmmmm tasty good.

These are amazing. Easily one of the best shop pizzas. Sometimes there's a deal on which is even better value.
