Decent Supermarket pizzas?

Dr Oetker make the best frozen pizzas bar none.

The Sainsbury's ones will do if there's nothing else though.

Morrisons ones that they make in store. Really tasty, loads of topping, absolutely huge and are only like £3.50!

I used to work at Asda behind the Deli, making the create your own pizzas. Some of the older colleagues disapproved that I put more topping onto the pizzas than everyone else. My excuse was ...'Well I make the pizzas how I would buy them!' My pizzas used to sell pretty quickly :-) Once I made a 14" pizza that weighed just over a kilogram. Took it to a party, everyone could only handle one slice! :D

Hey, me too during my teenage years :)
The reference amounts are unbelievable skimpy, I don't think anyone followed the guidelines.

They're actually still some of my favourite Pizzas, I'd rather have a 14" create your own than a takeaway, the bases are much crispier.
I used to make myself a 14" deep-pan before leaving work, It was big enough that when I got home I could cut it in half and cook the rest later. Only cost me £2.70 after employee discount too, making them cheaper than buying frozen (for equivalent surface area)

Peppers, Red Onions, Ham and Pinapple was my combo of choice.

To be honest, and I don't care what the rest of you elitest folk say, I quite like Aldi's Stonebaked Cheese & Tomato pizza's, they're only 99p each, and with a little homemade toppings, are very tasty.

Everyone has a different palette though..

^^^^ This!

Tried one the other day, think it was £4. Got the ham, mushroom and something else flavour.

And it was amazing...for a home cooked pizza. Easily the best ive had so far. Destroys asda ones.

Go try one, the price makes it worthwhile.
