I'm finally out of bronze league!
I was sent to second place in silver league straight away and I beat loads of high ranked gold players to get there, so hopefully I'll be in gold soon.

I've ordered this today, I couldn't hold back any longer! I should be here by Tues I'm hoping..
Has anyone tried this under OSX? Would running it under OSX give any more FPS compared to Windows 7 or is it pretty neck and neck?
Also, will an 8800gt cope at 1900 x 1200?

finished sp last night, did all the secret shizzle aswell so got the ace....
last mission was a bit bad, almost lost it a few times there. i really wish some of the units were in mp. like the pirate battlecruiser and the ability to drop pod in barracks units. its so good just watching literally all your army fall from the sky at the same time lol.
also is there any easy way to get the armoury achievements? i have the base one but now out of money

I think Kar sometimes plays this on his macbook.. so does run fine on OSX, not sure about performance though but i presume its fine as he seems to deal with it fine!
I literally haven't had a chance to sit down and play SC2 properly for weeks now, starting to annoy me
I don't know what's going on with our tourny but I'm not going to be available friday-sunday due to a family engagement. So unless Robhu can play some time in the evening soon I may have to forfit.. Starting to take the **** a bit makng people wait for the final, sorry!

Pirate BC would be so OP though, unless protoss gets the super-mothership and zerg the leviathan (which would be awesome)Easiest way to get the armoury achievement i suppose would be to save money as you go through missions, then once you have enough to buy any of the full sets, save your game. Then buy a full set, get the achievement progress, reload, buy the next set, get the progress again, etc until you have bought all sets.

haha thats what i did.. she sits there playing America's Next Top Model now while i kill aliens.. works well!

I was playing against protoss and he rushed me from the start with his drones - i was building my first supply depot it was that early and he basically killed my scv's off. Is there any way of countering? my scv's seemed to die quicker than his drones when i attacked his drones with my scv's!

get better at micro'ing your units, thats all you can and need to do.
Load your scv's into your CC and fly to an island. run the remaining SCV's around the map to just generally harass him.. you'll still be ahead on economy
Although, in general, SCV's are a little stronger than probes, in terms of you can repair your SCV's, where as probes only regenerate their shields out of combat.
Best thing to do is make sure your attacking with all your scv's at once, use 2-3 to repair. Its hard micro but needs must i suppose!
