The 6870 is more than 100% quicker than the NVIDIA TNT2.

Yea. Was using a TNT2 Ultra back then playing Resident Evil 2, Half-Life, Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, Alien vs Predator (the first one)...great card it was

Ahh the good old TNT2, I remember upgrading to the beast that was the TNT2 PRO, all so I could play starship troopers (rts) on my old p3 machine. I couldn't afford the ultra and certainly didn't have the cash for the Geforce 256.
Anyway never did manage to play that game at an acceptable level, it was like a slide show even on my beast of a TNT2 Pro, and I tell you it was a beast.
