Well yes but you normally only get hacked if you do something stupid.
You can just as easily say if you get burgled you face the possibility of losing all your games AND your pc/consoles and that is completely out of your hands.
Most successful hacks are the real life equivalent of leaving your front door wide open with a sign up saying you've gone on holiday for 2 weeks so don't leave any milk.
Having a retail copy of a Steam game is great, as you get a free DVD backup of the game.![]()
was thinking this earlier. original assassin's creed £5 from amazon. £20 from steam. is the extra £15 justifiable for auto patching/fast downloading?
We will always be one step behind fraud.
You are exaggerating. The guy does have a point it is perfectly feasable to get hacked even if you are the most conscientous person with your computers security. Hence why we have security programs ie: antivirus - spyware consistently updating themselves as something new has been discovered. We will always be one step behind fraud.
that's because it depends solely on the intelligence of the person targeted.
in every steam chat window steam says 2don't ever give anyone your pw, but people still do, every time you click a link in steam chat that isn't top a steam page it pops up saying "this isn't a steam site do not enter your account details" yet people still do.
All the security in the world can't stop idiots willingly giving their details to others.
This.
Though you have a point. Its not like leaving the door open with a sign saying you're away for 2 weeks. Its more like inviting the burglar in who is cleverly disguised as the guy from Antiques Roadshow by using a mask and asking to take away all your stuff for appraisal...
I like boobs
lol nice example ^^
Digital Image or physical copy?
Nope it is overpriced convenience. Which idiotic consumers who pay the prices will continue to keep these unjustifiable prices stay as they are![]()
