Braided cables

Does anyone know if you can buy pre-braided cable set for things the PWR,RESET, HDD LED, AUDIO, cables that run from your case down to the little headers on the mobo? Maybe like an extension set that's braided?

Everything else in my case is braided, and these brightly coloured cables spoil it, and i dont fancy braiding them myself lol

Never seen them so I guess you could braid them yourself

Look for techflex cleancut braiding - 3mm (or 1/8") diameter for a wire or two. It's the nice dense weave stuff MDPC almost certainly use.

Hi mate,

Don't really have much more info. Just google it - I haven't braided myself yet but from reading around and asking people was told that's the stuff you want for braiding single/a few wires. Think I found an audio equipment type site that sold it - can't remember the name though - you'd need to find it and work out if it's worth getting given it probably has a minimum p&p charge. Alternatively just get it from million dollar pc www.mdpc-x.com, he sells packs of small diameter braid separately, but again it's likely to be expensive. Don't think he's classed as a competitor to ocuk given he only sells braiding, heatshrink, black screws etc.

They are black until the last few cm's in which they're multicoloured lol, stands out like a soar thumb

mdpc-x sleeving is out of this world

my shipment arrived yesterday, i got the black kit thingy and a few meters of the dark blue stuff but Nlis also through in some extra light blue stuff tat looks very nice

buy heatshrink

put heatshrink over the coloured ends

hold 1 inch over a candle until it shrinks to fit

done

Or just use gaffer tape.

I ordered 20ft of 1/8" Techflex f6 stuff for $5 plus $4 shipping earlier.

Thanks Khemist, just what I wanted. Apologies for my lack of searching, I assume that they didnt make any if OCUK didnt stock them as they have the other NZXT stuff
