Where is the battery on a E60 M5, passenger side?
In the boot.
I'm guessing the fire started from that side.
When you do find a job, make sure it isn't in fire investigation.

The guy in question is very well know in the MG world. Big MG Parts supplier/workshop/tuner for years.
Who?
What a mess!
I'd be VERY concerned with the 32min delay for the emergency services to attend, thats very scary!!
George Mackmurdie
Hmm, tracking still looks ok.

Customers car or his this time? Well respected? Ha don't make me laugh, the guy turned up at my house once threatening me cause of some rumour. There are plenty of stories about the guy for people to come to their own conclusions.
He was banned from most forums for a reason, his wiring wasn't great either ...

Expected response really. Phate I'm sure you're aware of how many people I know from the old rover days, I've seen this time after time.
Didn't George mess you about with some body or suspension parts for your MG?
Surprised he's still getting customers with his shoddy work... maybe he did some fancy wiring on this M5 and that was the cause of the fire
I guess I best shut up before he joins OcUK and takes me to court for slander... I think that was George anyway
And slightly more on topic, after burning for over half an hour, I would have expected to see much less of that car.
