I remember borrowing my mates dreamcast and playing resident evil code veronica x.

this game was absolutely friggin awesome!!

i was hooked! the thrill it took me through ill never forget it was just soo slick!

i remember though that something was up with the 2nd CD.

i stayed awake and really looking forward to my friday all nighter...and the disappointment!!!!

basically, everytime i put the 2nd cd in, it would load and everything, but my save point i was stuck in this room, and everytime i opened the door, it would jump to a door opening cutscene...and then freeze!!

i spent soooooo long trying to sort this out and i never got to finish the game :-(

anyway my mate sold it to another friend of mine. who came to college one day raving about how good code veronica is.

i goes to him just wait till you get to the 2nd cd and it gets stuck....know what he said???

he hasnt had any issues with it. he even tried my save point and it worked!!!

i was sooooo angry grrrrrahhhhh even now im getting wound up thinking about it lol

When I had my original copy of FF7 got to the final Sephpiroth fight (the auto omnislash one) and as Cloud was about to deal the final slash the game froze up completely and to top it off the file went corrupt too. The annoying thing was as well the last time I'd used my second file was in the City of the Ancients the first time round.

ohhhh the save files LOL get soo carried away with levelling up we forget to save lol!!

remember DOOM on the snes???
this game had no save points lolllll

i remember playing this game and looking for all the secrets and enemies so i can get 100% on each level im weird like that sometimes i have to do this lolll

i played entire resident evil 4 on the gamecube without dying once and if i died ill go all the way back to my save point lol

the worst thing was i shot the shop keeper LOL once he dead you cant bring him back!! the geezer!

Not so much a game glitch.... but the fact that the Pause button was next to the Reset button on the Sega Master System was an awful design flaw.

Nearly finished Zelda the Wind Waker but my memory card got corrupted.

Needless to say with all the SAILING in the game I did not feel like putting myself through that again.

I guess the current one thats annoying me is that CoD:UO on the 2nd mission (taking over the crossroads) is bugged. I kill everyone and they just keep spawning and the game will not progress. I thought at first it was just a "hold the fort" bit, but after running out of all ammo a few times, I thought something was fishy. Looked on the tube and found a "walkthrough" of that area. When the guy cleans out the area, it just continues like normal, but mine wont! :(

Not really a glitch but I managed to unlock the wrong door in the water temple on Zelda the Ocarina of Time, tried every possible room to find another key. Could not progress any further. Epic Fail.

Black and white, i cant remember if it was first or second. Something to do with a totem that wouldn't rise or fall, and you couldn't progress in the game without it. The subsequent fixing patch was incompatible with save games. Fail.

Mass Effect 2, i used to get teleported a few feet high above the floor or i would get stuck within an object, happened frequently for me.

Most recently it has been the F1 2010 save game corruption. It was so nice to let me do half a season but then decided I had played enough. This happened twice as well :D

Patch can't come soon enough for that game.

Edit: And the AI not pitting which sometimes resulted in Force India or Torro Rosso winning a race lol. It was nice to see a Williams win again though. :p

Half Life 2...

All was going very well untill I reached Zen....

Oh, wait, that wasn't a glitch? ;)

Thats a mighty glitch right there...

The most obvious one for me is Vampire: Bloodlines, had a few bugs on release that made the game unplayable for some, one that made me crash to desktop when I spoke to certain people so I couldnt carry on the story. Awesome game and glad the community have carried it on, with their patches ive completed it a few times now.

Fallout 3, the last mission where the big robot (Prime) gives backup on the bridge, for some reason he got stuck a million times on the bridge needing a reload everytime.

Crysis, right at the end. The massive boss/alien thing glitched through the boat resulting in me not being able to kill it.

I think it was supposed to have been fixed in a patch but I tried it again after installing the patch and it was still glitched into the boat so I gave up.

call of cthulhu on the Battleship part, even though it was on Steam there is a bug where you can't see the island or the target to shoot with the Cannon, no fix was released.

I had to look around for days for a save file to bypass it, man that had me miffed :P

fallout 3 On 360/pc FULL of glitchs like the one you describe. Unless you have the net to research why its glitching you wouldnt have been able to play the game. its stupid
