I can't be the only one who always seems to have the same phrases pop up in my head when I'm thinking about dilemmas or big decisions, what are your most common ones?

mine are:
"Don't worry about what you can't change"
"What's the worst that could happen"
"Nothing ventured nothing gained"
"treat others as you'd want them to treat you"
"No Risk, no Return"
"Work to live, don't live to work"
"there's always someone worse off than you"
"**** It"

"breath in.....and out"

repeat ad infinitum

Find that helps with the whole 'living' thing :p

Also

"Ignorance is bliss"
"What they don't know can't hurt them"
"It's not what you know, its who you know"

And other such clichés

Life is never what it seems
We're always searching in our dreams
To find that little castle in the air
When worry starts to cloud the mind,
It's hard to leave it all behind
And just pretend you haven't got a care
There's someone else in your imagination
You wish that you were standing in their shoes
You'd change your life without much hesitation
But would you if you really had to choose?
So, don't look around
Get your feet on the ground
It's much better by far
To be just who you are
The other man's grass is always greener
The sun shines brighter on the other side
The other man's grass is always greener
Some are lucky, some are not
But just be thankful for what you've got

Damn, are you my twin or something?

The last one was the first to spring to mind though.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the common man.
Common sense is rare but stupidity is common.
Hot diggety dog Millicent your the cats miaow.
Words can hurt, but not as much as an elbow to the chin.

Whenever im nervous or anxious about something, i just say to myself "Tomorrow will soon be yesterday" and it calms me down.

Whatever will be will be
**** happens
treat others you want to be treated
live for today you dont know what tomorrow will bring
"the grass is greener on the otherside,is it?lets find out"
