What he means is the card is on early BETA drivers, they are version 10.10 and much newer is out now, so with better drivers they will probably find another 2-5% performance from the card.

Asus should arrive tomorrow afternoon, but not many, say 10 units.
Sapphire and HIS are the best value options and 100's of stock to go round.

Not worth selling my 5770 Crossfire for
Going from Crossfire 5770 to Crossfire 6850 would be. At the cost of £150 you should see very decent performance improvement. On the other hand, 6950 will cost less than £300 and should offer a significant performance boost at similar cost.
Two clocked 5770s are on par or faster than a 5870 though?
Faster in some games, but you have a lower minimum frame rate.
