I don't think it's that bad having the license revoked under the new driver act from an insurance perspective.
Can she book some holiday off work and/or stay up in a hotel or something near to work for the period whilst she doesn't have her license to buy her some time? Depending on how understanding they are, she may be able to take some unpaid leave as well.

Registered keeper gets the points if nobody else can be identified as the driver, at least thats my understanding of the law as it currently stands?
