After the shower/bath

Random thread I know but ho hum there you go.

Just been having a debate with the lass, we've been living together a few month now and she thinks I am weird because after a shower or bath I dry myself a little bit then go lie on the bed to finish drying off. Just air off a bit and dry my hair with a towel and that.

She labels this weird as "everyone gets dried in the bathroom before they come out nag nag nag"

Am I weird? Or do other people get dry in places other than the bathroom?

As I said random, but I want proof that she isn't right, so the internets will save me

I dry myself pretty much entirely apart from my hair when in the bathroom

Surely you just make the bed damp? :s

Drip-drying is for women. I go to town with that towel and get pretty damn dry!

I'm not dripping wet, i'm mostly dry just not completely dry.

I get 'told off' for this also, I jump out of the bath/shower and I wrap the towel around me and leave the bathroom lol I prefer to dry in my bedroom rather than the bathroom... Never realised its uncommon to be honest.

I dry myself in the bathroom. the only other thing I sometimes do is put on my dressing gown for a while so that I'm completely dry when I get dressed.

My house is so cold I wouldn't dare leave the bathroom 'till I'm fully dressed

I'll dry my hair and face in front of the mirror as soon as I step out of the shower then sit in front of my computer wearing a towel whilst the rest of me dries off.

Stepping out of the shower and drying myself is probably the worst part of my day. Bloody hate it!

I go crazy with a towel all over till im dry (hair is on the way) then chuck a robe on and im happy.

I do exactly the same! I normally sit on bed with my phone or laptop.

I'm 95% dry when I come out of the bathroom. If it was a really really hot shower and it's all steamy, I might open the door to let it out, but I'll still dry myself in there.

You are weird and probably make the bed wet and clammy.

Well I certainly don't get out the shower, not dry myself then go lie on the bed

... but I do part dry myself to get the heavy stuff off and then BAM, bathroom door open; FEEL THE BREEZE. Then usually drip dry while sitting at my computer

I get out of the towel, dry hair, quickly rub off (o'er) the water and then wrap towel around me. Then get properly dried and dressed in the living room.
