im getting a convertible car tomorrow and me being me ill have the top down in the winter and the only part of me that gets cold will be my hands on the wheel

i dont really like any of the driving gloves but ive seen a nice pair of golfing gloves and was wondering as the grip is not too dissimilar if they would be suitable?

thanks :)

When I drive with the roof down when its cold outside (Record is 3c) I find the vents pointed at your hands are good enough. I recommend a woolly hat though!

I've been considering digging out the pair of gloves I left under the drivers seat for the drive to work in the mornings. It's cold out!

i have no idea how cold it will get, never had a convertible before, i never really get cold tbh, i can wear shorts in the snow when running so maybe i wont need them or i should just have a go and see..

I always wear gloves in the winter for driving. Just some black cotton ones with small rubber grips on the fingers and palm. Work great.

^ i may have seen that lotus about if that is yours

i definitly wont need a hat, i havent worn a hat or scarf for years and years, [hell i can sweat in the minus figures] i was just concerned about my hands going numb again i just dont know

The material on the palm and fingers of a golfing glove is likey to be suitable for gripping a steering wheel. However golfing gloves are not designed for warmth and generally have perforated leather/faux-leather so will be quite cold if that is what you're worried about.
