Brit cop punch man 5 times in the face.

i love cops. they always cover themselves in nothing but glory.

and then get away with it at the tribunal. 'thanks ted, wink wink.' but its not as though they have a culture of looking after their own...
 
I have no axe to grind agaisnt the police. But no police person is better than me:D.
The poilce are not born on an island off the British coast then transported over..........NO the police are from the same society as me and you and in this society we have killers, liars, drug dealing, assault, speeding etc..etc.. the same you will find in the police FORCE (service-bah) as well.
If i have a bad day and do something wrong i get nicked...if a cop has a bad day and does something wrong nothing happens.
He should be chagred with assult if the guy on the ground put his hand up to stop the blows he would have been done for assualt.
 
He was resisting arrest. Whether he should have been punched or not is open to debate, but he was definitely resisting.
 
Can we please have a reality check: people are busy condemning a police officer on the basis of a story in The Sun? Care to think that through a bit? Anyone have a link to the full incident on U-Tube or similar? And not the edited highlights either.

if your wife was the 5 oh and she had to arrest someone and she said he was about to attack her, you would justify her actions
also what if it was your daughter who came home with that?
you would justify the action.

No people re basing it on seeing a guy get punched in the face 5 time s in a pretty clear video not 2 seconds after being tasered.

I take it you are referring to 1975 or some similar days of the Sweeney year as the above suggests you haven't been the subject of an internal investigation ?
 
Resisting arrest or not, the job was done there was no need for him to punch him in the head multiple times after he had been tasered. That's a cowardly thug.

I honestly no longer care, we're far too soft on criminals and far too harsh on the Police in this country. Good on them, next time and lets face it there will be a next time perhaps he won't resist arrest.
