And yes, the Civic Type-R also drives me nuts, terrible, terrible place to sit, and the constant drone at motorway speeds is eye-gougingly terrible to endure for any length of time, and whilst the seats are supportive in the corners, after a long drive they make you feel stiff and tired.

Yo do realise that without the A/C on you can only get the car down to a temperature slightly above that of ambient? Which on a HOT day would still be hot.

Yo do realise that without the A/C on you can only get the car down to a temperature slightly above that of ambient? Which on a HOT day would still be hot.

and u do realise that it has A/C and it's auto.

get a jag then. the seats in the dc5 are far better than the civic.

The more likely explanation for the Honda fan-boy-ism, however is that we are all forgetting that when VTEC kicks in y0, the changeover between cam profiles actually engages a mini warp drive housed in the intake manifold.

No, it's because it's not an all-rounder, what part of that don't you understand?

In the same way a Megane R26.R is a superb little track weapon, doesn't make it an epic all rounder and great motorway cruiser.

The DC5 is not good for all things, it is not as good as a lot of cars for long trips on big long roads, and can make you feel night night and stiff?

And the Civic Type R isnt a great all round package either.

It's a focused car - its designed to be very good at one thing, and the consequence of this is that whilst it is simply astounding at attacking a B road, it simply sucks on the Motorway or around town compared to more rounded cars with perhaps less of the on the limit B road ability.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind owning one with something like a TechArt kit on it but they're really not that fast.
