Metro 2033

Can anyone help me out here please , downloaded it and cliked on play -

update your Nvidia drivers?

read this on another page

This worked for me:
After getting the error, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\metro 2033\install
then hit the physx.exe, and it will uninstall. After it has uninstalled, hit .exe again and now it will install it. then restart your computer. after that go to steam and start the game there and it will work.

I didn't really feel like anything was explained. I thought it could have been longer and I didn't think it was a short game. I didn't really know why the ghost things were there. The mutants were obvious enough.

I guess I expected it to be quite realistic with mutants been caused by the nukes and it to be quite gritty. Then all of a sudden its like HURR WE HAVE INSTAKILL GHOSTS!
 
Just downloaded and installed , But whats this ranger thing all about in the difficulty selection ??? There are down arrows next to the 2 ranger settings as well . anyone know what they are .
 
cool game, runs slow with settings maxed think i need to take off AA16x

i like the bullets=money idea :)

EDIT: oh and did anyone give the bullet to that kid?

If you listened to the characters when they talked to you ou would know. khan kind of explained when you where going through the unnels with him.
 
On the 360 you also get an achievement for telling him to jog on :D

one major downside to the 360 version is that the reload and swap for high grade bullets is the same button, just the length of button press that varies.

Many times after combat i'd realise that i'd accidentally fired all of my cash at some bad guys :(
 
Brilliant buy, I'm fussy about my games, but this has been mint so far. Linear actually works really well, great athmosphere, just started and cant wait for a second playthrough on ranger hardcore.

And yes, it owns systems.

If you get issues with that physx thing, just reboot.
 
Plays as smooth as silk on very hight at 1920x1200 in dx10 with my 4870 x 2. Which is a nice suprise :D. Seems dx 11 is the killer . But as my card does not have it i dont mind :D
