Well all know that nvidia are releasing the gtx580 or whatever it going to be called . But are all the other cards i.e the 450,460,470 getting a refresh

i know the info is probrably out there on the net but cant be arsed to seach for it , im lazy :D
 
you only need physx if you have a physx game. i ran a 5770 with a 9800gt, my 9800gt barely did anything. just mafia 2 and ut3 physx mod. waste of power tbh.

and i wouldnt start talking about 5** series yet, remember they jumped the 3** kinda...

i remember before the 400 series was announced they said a 380gtx was going to come out. Lots of false information...really forget about the 500 series cards until you see it spamming this forum when it gets properly announced.
 
so just the gtx580 to come in the next month or so . i have been holding off for a new card for so long , my 9800gtx+ setup struggles now . i nearly bought a gtx470 but then was tempted by the new amd cards , then here news of more amd cards to come . i have 300 pound saved now . need to spend it before the end of the year really as the v.a.t rise is gona hit prices hard

any sources and benchmarks of the 580 ?
 
Wow, Nvidia's stealth marketing is actually working, I bet in a week or so, AMD leaks new info about Caymans. I couldn't care less though :)
 
I'm sorry, I seem to have missed something here..... when was it offically announced that there was going to be a GTX580 in the next few months? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure when it's released it will be a wicked card but until something official is confirmed it's all guess work.

I'm just saying that even if you could be arsed to look, there is nothing to find as nothing has really been announced. As soon as there is any official info on the 5XX there will the threads a'plenty on every GFX forum around.
