Hi forumers:D:D,

Im currently searching a good MP3 player with good reviews on it. with quality sound, great UI and capacity? hmm.. let me thinking, i go for 16gb(depend on its price).

Could anyone here suggest me some please?:confused:my budget is £80 and below. So, lets vote, see which Mp3 is value for money. the highest vote is the one that im gonna buy.:cool:

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

I would have suggested a Walkman but your budget isn't high enough...

Cowan? Maybe, but they are probably too expensive too. Maybe a Sandisk Salsa or some Phillips one?

Also this is going to be moved in 5...:p

why do people still use walkmans when mobile phones all come equipped with walkmans built in?

I haven't had a stand alone MP3 player since 2000

i see what you're saying but a phone is primarily for making phone calls, no? and the sound quality is unlikely to be as good

i bought a creative zen 2 years ago and think it's great

im using smartphone, too many song on the smartphone will make the phone goes crazy as it automatically update the album art and etc. so, thinking off emptying music in my phone and get a stand alone mp3.:D:D

Sansa clip + 8gb, can be had for under £40.00 on the rainforest site, memory can be expanded with micro sd/sdhc. Sound quality is very impressive as well.

Because sometimes they are more useful?:p

I have a smartphone and use that a lot for music but when I'm away on holiday or travelling long distance I much prefer using my walkman as the battery lasts 4x longer and has better SQ (for a start)...

I piekc up the 8GB + as well,m it truly is amazing, especially with the micro SD expansion, meaning you can basically have as bigger library as you want!

I'm the same, one device when I go out rather than half a dozen. Maybe if I had £500 headphones I might be able to tell a difference in sound quality but not with standard consumer audio equipment.

hmm... Sandisk Sansa eyh? but some people said Creative is good(Zen, Micro, Mozaic, Zen X-fi). i wonder, there arer a lot of it, not sure which one is the latest one?

Had a Creative Zen then got a Sansa Clip+. The Clip wins.

As for the question about mobile phones for music, it's an option but I feel I can tell the difference, plus smart phone battery life isn't always fantastic these days.

Creative are ok, but I always found them to be about as reliable as iPods. they wear down quite easy if you use them a lot.

I'd either go for a Sandisk Sansa+

or if you want that little bit extra sound quality and features go for the Cowon i9

I bought the original 8gb Sansa Clip (not the new + model) about 12-18 months ago. At the time I looked at a few Creative players but decided to settle on the Sansa because it was cheap, got great reviews (particularly for sound quality), had a great battery life (I think I could still get at least 8+ hours of continuous play from a full charge), but what I liked most was its size (it's smaller than a match box).
