Hey.

Seeing as I missed the boat and the prices of the 6800 series cards has increased since the first day of sale, anyone think they will come back down again?

Thank you kindly.

I think some stores like OCUK have 1 day specials which don't show up when you use google shopping so you have to do it the old fashioned way.

Prices have gone up which is a kick to teeth to be frank but if they have gone it's due to demand so they must be good cards to own but I don't really want to pay more then £170 inc del for a HD6870 when I build my HTPC.

edit:
Some cards have gone up by quite a bit, there was a XFX 6870 on pre order at OCUK No1 rival store at £170 last week and I see know its jumped up to £191

Did that and haven't found such a deal at any of the major etailers.

I've seen a 6870 ex VAT for 169, but otherwise with a personal discount got something similar... o to buy another and hope they go up?

I ordered the Sapphire 6870 on Sunday for £176 delivered (it's being delivered tomorrow) from a competitor (sorry OCUK!). so there are deals out there - you just need to look around. the same card is now selling for over £200 on the competitors site.

For those of you looking for the 6870, I got the last one, its the VTX one and there is a discount code for £10 off (orders over £150) plus 3% quidco so it was actually £163 or something, but you can still preorder.
