omg....just finished watching Hachiko: A Dog's Story and im speechless..brilliant movie and i must say if you love/have dogs then this movie will make you cry a river..we have few dogs and one of them died not so long ago and after watching this movie it made me realise how special i was to have a dog like him:
(crying while typing)
has anyone else seen this movie and made them cry?
really loved the movie.

Whatever you do don't watch Marley and Me then. Any person that has had a dog and doesn't cry at that film is heartless. :p

It's especially pertinent if you've had a dog that died in similar circumstances.:( It's evil, you go, watch the first half, a nice comedy/feel good film, then it gets sadder and sadder, until the end.:(

:p

If this is the wrong section, please feel free to move it..:(
Eight Below to me was a very sad movie,i was 9 or 10 when i saw it but no tears came out but Hachiko was just :( really moving..

Watership Down :(

Seconds too late...

This is the first movie that made me cry. With fear. I watched it when I was 7 or so, and it gave me nightmares for a fortnight, at least. I'm 25 now, and I still can't watch the entire film through. I shake too much.

Edit: Well, minutes too late at least.

I think I might have cried at 'silent running' a few years ago.
But I'm too manly to cry now, tears allow weakness to enter the body, only pain can get it out again.

Transformers the Movie (1986) - when Prime died, I was err, quite upset (and 4 years old before anybody asks). :o

In recent times that episode of Futurama where Fry tries to find his dog is quite sad as well.

I simply can't watch it either, it's horrible.:(

wasn't there a thread like this not long ago after someone had watched 'up'?

Yeah in the link posted above probably. Interesting though, I haven't seen it so the fact so many people were emotional about a "kids" cartoon is interesting.:)
