For £1.30 and a blob of blutac it was fantastic to use. Set up the tripod, set up the camera, expose the shot, add on about 13 stops, stick the filter on then sit down for 30 seconds or so whilst its working.

Then get greeted with this when post-processing:

is that 13 full stops? ie. F1 gets treated as f90

or 13 stops in 1/3 increments i.e. 1.8 up to f5(ish)

Some pics from me, only had time to do the Borough Market ones so far:-

What is it you were using mate, and where can i get one ;) great shot btw

It was a piece of "4 x 3 Replacement Welding Lens - Glass" off an auction site, £1.30 buy price with free postage. Just the right size to stick in front of a 77mm ring or less :)

EDIT would possibly cut the bottom off it to remove the two distracting objects at the left and right hand corners?

They have been annoying me.

Don't want to crop it at the bottom - it cuts off the flow of the bridge.

Don't want to crop it at the sides - you loose the bridge supports.

But a strong vignette works wonders:

You managed to PP it back to (almost) normal colours from that? I'm impressed, I might actually have a go and get some.

edit: I went to London a few weeks ago and did some shots like this; can I add mine or is it just exclusive to this meet?
