RS Megane 230 R26
2007 with 17k
Optionals - Xenon's and full size spare

Mods - Miltek turbo back, Audi S3 Turbo, ITG Pannel Filter and RS tuning remap. Made 276 on the rollers last week in Leeds. I am told new injectors and FMIC it will be circa 310 but to be honest 276 is plenty for me in a FWD!

Such a great car, the amount of grip compared the 172 cup i had previously is tremendous. I cant help but feel its taking the fun out of driving as it is just too good! The LSD keeps the car planted in bends/round-a-bouts. Seats look good but are not comfortable. Car is rock hard - feel all the bumps :D

It ll do fine for 12 months or so. I really wanted an Exige S but wifey has an expensive taste in kitchens and we really need a new one :( This will be my last hot hatch I think.

Poor pictures but you get the idea!

Interior looks dated and plasticy, but really like the Recaro's. You wouldn't want more than 276 in a FWD. I'd be surprised if you could get that kind of power down in 1st/2nd without the ESP light coming on.
I wonder sometimes why people start chasing the numbers...seems odd to me.

I dont know what to think of these cars
Great fun to drive, Im sure, but just seems silly to have 273bhp through the front wheels to me.

Im sure you'll enjoy it though :p

Same style handbrake on the Zafira rental I had. You get used to it surprisingly quickly. Beats the Multipla I used to have with the handbrake on the right between the drivers seat and the door!

To be fair, its a handbrake on a hot hatch - I dont care what it looks like as long as it holds the car still when parked :D It's just had new discs and pads before I purchased it but im experiencing way too much brake fade with the standard pads. Its actually quite scary when pushing on, so going to purchase some ds2500's I thinl or CL5'S

Similar to the handbrake on a Zafira. Which made me want to kill myself.

Very, very nice capable motor though - enjoy :)
