Thought so. I'm similar, I won't do excess speed, because there isn't need. Even on a motorway. I'm just shocked to see loads of cars probably doing 3 figures, and the police doing f all about it.

I think I would make citizenship something that is acquired, and the rights which go along with it acquired, those who choose not to obtain citzienship are expelled, (sent to an island, or a govt who wants them)

i deffinately agree on the national service +1

if i could twist this around a little and introduce a law, i would make it illegal to have children if you currently cant support your self

As much as there's a few kids I wouldn't mind slapping, I can't imagine myself actually using corporal punishment on any kids that I teach. I teach in a school with its problems, particularly boys, but I doubt it would actually solve any problems.

One particular lad I can think of only knows how to interact with adult (males) by being aggressive - presumably it's because it is all he knows. I doubt me whacking him for misbehaving would actually work; he seems to react much better to a softer approach.

(Must be doing something right, as I've not given 1 detention this year so far, either :cool:)

OT: Not sure at all about what I'd make legal. I'm not sure adopting laws from foreign countries would actually work - like a death penalty or lower consent ages or drug classification.
 
This is hard because of all the illegal things I do, the law really is the last thing on my mind regarding them and I don't give a damn about it. If I want to smoke cannabis, rail lines of coke, get stuck in the k-hole or visit God in the sun, I will - no piece of paper or some faceless politician in a dark room in London will tell me otherwise. If I want to take drugs, I will.

If I could make one thing legal it would be that I don't have to pay tax on fuel. That would benefit me money-wise more than anything else.
