If you could 100% get away with shoplifting, definately it's a no-risk deal (theoretical question); would you do it, or not do it because of your internal moral standard?

Does the answer change depending on the size/nature of the business (so for example would you nick from huge faceless corporations but leave local 'struggling to float' businesses alone?)

Yes i would, if i could 100% get away with anything i would do it, if the benefits outweigh the time/effort doing it.

It does, small businesses "struggling to float" will probably not have anything too valuable, time can be spent stealing things of greater value.

There is no moral justifications for stealing. Either from an evil corporation that uses child labour or stealing from a charity, stealing is wrong, people who try to justify things are deluded. These things are black and white. Even though it might be "for the greator good", it doesnt make it right.

I've already said, even if you endgame is good, the act of stealing is still wrong.
