GiantBomb live Kinect marathon stream is live (stack all your furniture in the corner of your room)

Just saw a bit. The Dance central looks pretty awesome, yeah the guy who danced to Soulja Boy was crap, but the way the moves are done in game were quite realistic. Also the menu system for Dance Central looks really good with the hand motions to go through the menus.

Best things I'm seeing from this is console and menu interaction :)

Dance Central does look fun but I'd need to be druuuuuuuuuunk! :D
 
Kinect doesn't look like it'll do it for me .... but I can see how it will be popular as a family Christmas present - so its surprised me that its as good as it is
 
i saw a bit of this, the sonic riders looked awful but dance central looked like fun.... thing is you cant buy this thing for one bloody game no matter how much fun that game looks!

theyv so priced this out of a lot of peoples hands its ridiculous.

Fortunately I've not been to a party where the objective is to play motion control games.

Isn't Kinect 4 people max? Cool definition of a party, bro. :)

I usually stick to having a laugh with people with a drink here and there. It works well.

Edit: Also I don't see how me calling this overpriced has anything to do with how 'fun' I am. It has one decent looking game and that's it. :s

So far most of the games shown for Kinect have been for the younger generation/non hardcore type player.

If you read the rest of my posts you will understand my still 'in my eyes' valid point.

I assume you are in the 20+ bracket with no children as you'r post clearly states the obvious fact that I made.

I have purchased Kinect for my Children not for myself as I have little use for a motion control, I do not find them fun either. I also would prefer to go down the local for a drink with my friends then stay at home and play motion games with them.

i give your children 20 mins max before they get bored or frustrated with it.
 
Just watched dance central, sports and sonic riders all of which are pathetic.

I so hope KINECT fails so we can get back to developing proper controllers rather than this bullcrap.
