And yeah it's probably a bit faster than my ST220 but in the right hands, who knows. I'm now a lot quicker through the bends than I was the first time we met :p

Such as what in it's class? A EK9 with Tim's mods im assuming would be around 200Brake, that would eat your ST 220 for breakfast.

Go for it Mike, test one out, there mint little motors, look a bit dated mind, but there lots and lots of fun, and there not slow by any means. An RX8 is certanly not quicker.

Upto 60-80 it will keep up with hot hatches off today, they weigh nout.

There was a nice supercharged one for sale a while ago on CTRO, was about 250 brake, that would have shifted, and surprised a few.:D

This really. I wish more people realised how awesome the little B16B engine was, 185bhp from 1595cc's is so epic, but it's 2010, and we have better engines now.

I went from an EK9 to 182. There's not a lot in it performance and handling wise, I just miss the vtec note and 9000rpm. I guess the EK9 had more of a barry boy image but that never bothered me.
 
Its a banana with red seats, very fetching :)

I just for the life of cant see what is special about that, 5k, i just cant get me head round that.
 
Argh I hate the way owners forums have people in in for sale threads saying 'this is worth xxx all day long' and 'this is so clean you won't find another one like this'.

Obviously if it WAS worth xxx it would have been sold! I think owners clubs can be a little deluded on price sometimes. From that thread I fail to see why that one is sooo good...
 
Some winners on that forum i see Mike nearly fell out with them on there :)
 
Forum wars.....I sense we have another brewing, I like them as I can stand back and watch it all kick off as people join up other forums, post abuse, and get all loud and rowdy.

Don't think Tim's had 200brake?

And anyway, depends on how the EK9 would eat an ST220 for breakfast. B roads, probably. 0-60, definatley. At speeds above 70-80 - Top speed... not. The speed the ST220 climbs to 145mph is quite impressive. I think the EK9 runs about of puff at 130?

None of that matters because after 20 mins in that nasty noisy little bean tin you would be suicidal and drive into a wall anyway :D
