That link just shows a car that was priced too high for Mike doesn't it?

I think that's the actual car he's offered for and apparently the fact he posted and then messaged the guy on the 4th about it and then told us on the 5th that he had made an offer on a car "doesn't match up".

I think people are getting a touch too excitable now and are looking for things that aren't there to pick on.

This :)

The fact that so many people have decided that this EK9.org is something worth picking on demonstrates perfectly how a lot of these "arguments" start, except this time it is a lot more clear cut.

Well, I assume it didn't sell today, so I should be in the running.

But he appears to have put it on eBay with a day on it, so he is obviously getting desperate. I guess it depends whether it goes on eBay.

They're very hard cars to sell. Mainly due to them being overpriced, but also buyers usually only want minters and/or low milers, which mine was neither:p

Just wait a bit, he'll drop it more.

They woul be very easy cars to sell if the Honda fanboys didn't have such an overinflated value of the cars worth :p

If they were priced the same as other 90's hot hatches like the 306 GTi-6 they'd sell very easily, as you know :p

Probably. But you dont put your car up for sale for 3k when there are similar models for sale at 6.5k do you? Not just Honda too, seen the prices of Corolla AE86's?:o

I dont know a lot about these EK9's at all. Are they really as awesome as they are being made out to be in this thread? I dont even remember them being raved about when they were new.
I couldnt get my head around paying 5k for an old civic.
The Honda scene is crazy!

That about sums me up too, just looks a nasty little thing with a bad interior to me. But if its what he wants i dont know why he dont get on and get it.

I'd agree, not something that ever crossed my radar, not like some of the other small Honda's like the Integra, I feel some fanboy price manipulation...
