LOL are you serious? That's the most pathetic thing I have ever heard.

Jesus christ, you can't please anyone. People moan that developers don't support their games enough. Valve comes along, adds 120+ updates and people complain that they're adding too much.
 
If you've been playing since the first release then you must have bought the Orange Box? Even if you don't like the direction TF2 has taken in the last 18 months or so - it was still one of the best value gaming buys ever surely?

I think what has annoyed many is the game hasn't been updated, it's been changed heavily.

Im not saying/moaning that "I dont like it, I want a refund" you morons purport to assume Im saying.

Im asking, is there an argument for people to ask this question BECAUSE of the division that these updates have so obviously caused in the community.

A very simple question that isn't personally related to my opinion of the game.

I despise this forum sometimes, no wonder it has the reputation it does
 
If you really want to play the cut back, uber simplified version of TF2, play it on the xbox.

I've tried it, it's utter **** compared to the game we've got now (and that's even after you allow for having to play it on the xbox!)
 
Regardless of your feelings towards this forum, it was still a retarded question. Course you won't get a ****ing refund, it was unbelievably petty to even THINK you could. There are servers out there that block the new weapons so this thread says so go play on them, you don't have to see a new weapon ever again.

No? It's a silly point to try and make anyway.

I don't like it either but I've probably put too many hours into the game already. Dropping it now that the Trading/Polycount update is out wouldn't be the worst thing...

The only thing retarded here is that despite a second explanation of what I meant by my question (curiosity, as I take great interest in the computer games market) you and others still misunderstand it and reply accordingly.

Even if my question was to relate to your rude, pathetic, socially retarded, backwards responses, those answers offer no evidence and boil down to nothing but pre pubescent trolling self righteous opinion.

If you had no problem with the games direction why even ask the question? Cos you wanted money back for a game you've probably owned for years? Just... lol.

He was not being a jerk, was he? All he said was no. :\

And he is right. There is zero basis to be able to get a refund especially since the agreement complies with such things and is updated every patch/update. T&Cs usually cover this.

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to tell without joining. Once you're in, and you start seeing things telling you to try out a premium account and so on, I usually die, alt tab and check out their websites to see what the benefits are. On several servers its just things like hats, all visual stuff without changing gameplay, or things like auto-balance protection and reserved slots. I'm happy to play on these servers, as they are encouraging people to fund the server without unbalancing the game. However, I know Saigns.de servers have increased ammo, movement speed and damage for donators. I don't know why anyone without a premium account would pay there, so they are probably pretty awful servers anyway :3
 
Indeed, other than a reserved slot (which is still frigging annoying when its you it chooses to kick) why would anyone play on a server with special boosts for the premium payers. Its effectively cheating.
