21-year-old purchases 33rd supercar

Wow, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of that collection. I'd think I was doing something wrong as I'm older than he is, but clearly he has been quite fortunate. As above, if I had that sort of money, once I'd given a large sum to charity I'd spend the rest on cars!

If i'd won the £112 million i'd have bought most of this place out :D

How is their wealth any more false than ours? Or any other kind?

Bizzare.

Well its not a fortune of a self made millionaire from a start up company who got it through hard work thats for sure.

The family got it by controlling a resource and colluding together with others holding that same resource to price fix it to make them lots of money.

Perhaps the word "false" is not strictly accurate, maybe that it wasnt "hard earnt" is more appropriate.

Self made millionaires tend to control resource.

Price collusion is perfectly moral, otherwise America and the UK would have continually pushed down oil prices until they got NOTHING for their resources.

I cannot see anything more fair than the current system.

It was clear we were out to abuse them, so now they've turned the tables?

Tough cookies. :)

Is this motors I'm in yeah? :D

At the end of the day, if this type of buyer didn't exist, the numbers of exotica sold would drop dramatically, thus limiting development. The end result would be a far more boring set of magazines and Sunday afternoons. Additionally, some of lucky few are able to buy these at knock down prices when the original buyer gets bored, meaning that we actually have some chance to own one.
All I can say is good on him!

my point is the source of their wealth will soon be at an end, then they will be left with nothing but a dustbowl. They don't really bring anything else to the table apart from being in the right place at the right time :)

Neither did we. So will ours.

And they only brought you farming, religion, castles and architecture amongst loads of others things.

But nah, its just oil. That's all arabs are isn't it.

\o/

Hard work controlling resources and making others work for you.

Are we going to do business 101?

I know a fair few self made people and i cant think of one that controlled any resources.
