All I wanted was MikeH + Hovis + EK9. Or was it a DC2?

I cant remember. Whatever it was, it was too expensive for a 1.6 Honda. And didnt get enough MPG for a track day car.

205 has far more pedigree than the EK9.

It was a toss up between a GT3 and a Cortina, both cars are so similar it's a hard call and I needed to ensure I could get a can of STP in the right door pocket.....on a Tuesday......and I could afford the washer bottle fluid.

It is well worth the read if you can spare a few hours, but from memory:

• Mike lists his final choice of cars he is thinking of getting as B-road blasters
• Much debate about them and how we've debated them in the past
• Mike decides he will go for something not on his final list and buys an EK9, unseen and having never been in one
• But then it turns out he hasn't bought it and in fact has an offer in that he expects will be accepted when the car doesn't sell on ebay
• the car doesn't sell on ebay
• We're waiting to see if Mike has done the deal

And inbetween all that much fun delving into Mike's previous threads, stances on certain subjects, general contradiction of stuff and even at one point I think we were looking at his results on the Isle of Wight autocross circuit.

Clearly they are not the car for you and a Vauxhall of some description is the way forward.
