I hope if and when monsters get turned on things like admins spawning items will stop... but it does seem I want something different out of +Survival+ multiplayer than some others in this thread, who just want to build and mine :p

Yeah im the same, I can see so much potential in the game outside of the mining and building (which is fun) but to add more 'real' life into the game, such as Shops, Trade, Paid Work etc would add a bit more longevity imo
 
Well I dont mind running from monsters, it makes it more intersting, if not annoying at time! :p

But yeah...i dont really want to restart again, if anything id rather just add them and then worry about them later

Last Saturday night I was a bit #*#*#* with the new server crashing all day so I did a worldsave then we (admins) handed out about 1,000 yes a 1,000 blocks of TNT to blast the #*#*#* out of the world & each other.
It made me feel a little bit better, then I reloaded the worldsave file & you would not have known anything had happend.

So some members prob kept some for there own use later I don't blame them I would have :)

Do you really want the use of TNT to make the rail road would it not all be done a bit to quick with no real work needed ?
Also I hope the admins don't just spawn the carts and track for you as again wheres the fun in that.
More fun doing it as a group mineing, building, laying ect.

With the TNT I can remove it from the server I don't really like the stuff it makes a mess of the world & not everyone tidys up they just leave the mess.

Also it can damage other players buildings I am not sure if the protect works against TNT.

I've spawned my own rail link, but I don't plan on doing anymore as you point it becomes too easy. Main reason I spawned my own, is I want to be able to hop back to spawn easy enough without having to use the spawn/home commands :)

The free item spawning that the admins have is for there own use I hope they are not giving items to other players.
The only other use they can use it for is to build server inprovements like the Bank, spawn point as thats the first part of the server new members see.

I spoke with bap earlier as Andy always seems to have TNT, but neither myself, verado or bap have given him any. However apparently it's rather easy to glitch chests full of an item once you have some of it in the first place.
 
Personally I'd like to see as little Admin spawning as possible. I know I'm one of the few that got my hands on some TNT but I think that's reasonable as right now there's no other way of getting the stuff.

Anything that can be made, should be made, not spawned. Atleast that's my own view of it.

Also come on server! Update already...
