PC gaming compared to console gaming

As long as you're not using it for FPS games, yes :p Using it for FPS games online will get you killed over and over again. And mentioning it in the forums won't do you much good either ;)

You can use an actual PS3 pad on the PC with a little faff.

can you get a PS3 style controller that will work with most PC games?

Just do what I do, grab a PS3 DS3 pad, plug into a spare USB socket and download motioninjoy.com PS3 gamepad drivers.

If you've got bluetooth these drivers will pair the DS3 with your bluetooth and you're all set.

the drivers will emulate a 360 gamepad, as many Games for Windows can use a 360 pad native, so you're all sorted.

Quick and easy way to have a playstation pad on a PC.

game quality is better, more options, fallout 3 mods <3 games can usually be found cheaper then console counterparts :p

plus pc games can be tried before money is exchanged :D

I find threads on here make me need to vomit into my vomit bucket weekly.

Unless it's just for non fps games then thats fine but I'd suggest the 360 wired pad, much better imo.

Hey, thats not fair. some do prefer to play with a gamepad, its been discussed many times before. Heck, even I played Half Life 2 with a gamepad once they built gamepad with aim assist into the game, was fantastic on my 42" plasma, gamepad in hand on the sofa....

Now, online FPS.. Yeah best get that trusty keyboard and mouse ready..!!
