As a side point, Joshy.. do your parents get pulled over often?
Mum reckons they picked on him.
The fact he drove a black lowered focus, with tinted windows, rude boy exhaust and was slammed and stank of weed and he drove with his hood up had sod all to do with it though

basically i was driving through pontefract with my sister and her boyfriend coming back from a chinese buffet they just wanted to check my details , there were loads of police in the area as sunday nights are boy racer nights round there , wrong place wrong time really good job i wasnt being a penis in the car though as they seem to hammer a lot of people round there , altho the car that tugged me was a normal panda car and the bloke looked interested in mine, then when i get in my sister goes we got stopped by the police then the parents give me the 3rd degree on my driving

yeah i know they had it but coppers got it end of last year didnt they
and you mean eastern court i find it too noisy compared to china cityEDIT: sure ive seen that lupo lurking around wakey on sunday nights
and i usually do behave in cars unless i get some annoying twot in a bmw/audi/merc/ clio etc (delete as appropriate) sat on my bumper then sometimes i just give it a bit to get some distance

ibiza FR mk5 tdi and just aquired a sierra cosworth 4x4 for a weekend/track toy, quite addicted to it at the moment love the sheer chest pounding oomph it has , oh and the wastegate

Nope. Nobody in my family is a member of the police or ever has been. I do not even know any police officers personally.
Thats because of the fact I have a great deal of respect for authority and I respect the work the police do, the circumstances they have to work in, how important they are to society, etc etc.
Whats wrong with standing up for the police?
In my experience, they do a very good job and deserve some respect for some of the crap they have to put up with. Almost everyone I've encountered who has a problem with the police is because they've done something wrong and wanted to get away with it.
Upbringing has very little to do with it, life choices have much more bearing on how you see these things
