James Blunt "Stopped World War 3"

I must say when I read this article earlier today I did think it was rather a modest thing to come out with.

How strange, does he have a new Album out or something? It's almost like some cheap publicity stunt...

I'm surprised that annoying **** didn't start World War 3 with his dismal, self-pitying, nasal drone that passes for singing.

Utter, utter ****

Well said that man.

Had a new album out on the 8th November and a single out a few weeks prior, so it all ties in quite nicely, the small, annoying, whiney fool :p

He's been on a few things lately, quite a funny bloke

yep, he's nothing like the person I percieved him to be, he's quite funny and doesn't seem to take himself too seriously

Its a well known incident, but i suspect Mr Blunt is overplaying his role in it just a little.

He was asked questions about the incident and then the reporter gives it the angle that he saved us all from WW3. not Blunts fault really

if you read the article it was infact Gen Sir M jackson who mentions WW3

I used to hate his music, but now I realise we owe our lives to this man. A true Hero.

I was so tempted to start a thread about this after seeing the headline on Ceefax. It was one of the genuine WTF!? moments.

Anyway, it's Michael Jackson who we should really be thanking for not getting our lads involved in a serious mess at Pristina Airport. And to think, we all thought he was just an eccentric popstar.
