***The Worth Purchasing Getting Thread***

will update everything soon, just moved house so as you can imagine im busy, specially with creating my new entertainment room. i have no internet till 12th of november im hoping to update everything tomorrow whilst at work :)
 
I know it's already on the list, but is Just Cause 2 worth a punt for 8 pounds?

I enjoyed the demo but based on some reviews I have some reservations.
 
Gears of War for the PC,
Both tom Clancy Vegas games,
Splinter cell: conviction
Any tomb raider game ( not the new arcade type one)
Any prince of persia
.........my list is long, save more for another time.

Great Stuocky some juicy games on there

Request : can you add the release date next to games?

Helps to know what to expect in terms of GFX etc.
 
Just had a 'skip to the end' moment, so apologies if its been posted before. I like the idea of this thread but it needs a touch of work. Its obvious that some people are going to love Game A and some people are going to hate it. If you just add to the list any game that people say they love and ignore the hates you'll eventually end up with every single game in the world up there!

What you need to do is ask people for rankings for each game, like 1-10, and then get a general score out of the forum members. Kinda like an ocuk imdb.
 
Just seen this list for the first time, and I agree that it contains only choice titles.
Initially I had the same reservations as oxygene (above), but I see I was wrong.
I would like to propose 2 titles added to that list, and they would be:

The Settlers II: The Next Generation (10th Anniversary)
Anno 1404 + expansion
 
Playing now STAR WARS FORCE UNLEASHED 2 (finished FORCE UNLEASHED 1 yesturday- thought it amazing game) ... but when today started to play second game it blew me away by graphic's (PC) It's just amazing...both parts are great imo!
